Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.
At times, being a Christian can feel like a growing season in which we don’t know when harvest is. How often do we struggle with contentment and complacency in our faith? How often have we asked ourselves, “Do I need to go to church this morning?” “I shouldn’t have to volunteer again, can’t someone else do it?” “I don’t have time to do that; someone else will have to this time.” All of us have had these inner struggles during our faith journey, but verses like this from Galatians can help to encourage us. We must continue our efforts and remember that our labors continue to make a difference. Because we don’t know when our harvest is coming and must continue, and not become weary, in our faith as if this is our last opportunity to do good. And let us not underestimate the glory of our Savior’s harvest!Add Pingback
