About Us

At Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, North Dakota, we are called to:

• Help people experience the love of God
• Proclaim the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• Train, educate, equip, and enable disciples in order that we may better reach out to the needs of our community and world

The Mission of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is to be a place where Christ’s love is proclaimed as we welcome, worship, learn, and serve together.

We strive to accomplish this through:

Local Mission: We share Word and Sacrament with those around us and among us who need to know the good news of Christ and His love. Specifically, we provide after-hours youth events, accept food pantry donations, and take part in community events.

Global Mission: We participate in global mission to spread God’s love around the world. We do this through home-grown, synodical, and churchwide projects like 700 Mission, WELCA quilts, Eastern North Dakota Synod’s M&Ms in the C.A.R., Foods Resource Bank, and Operation Christmas Child, to name a few.

Lifelong Learning: We feed the sheep and walk with them through Milestones of Faith – births, baptisms, confirmations, weddings, end of life, funerals, and grief.
